Hydroponics system mainly consists of pumps, tanks of supply solution, and concentrated fertilizers, supply pipes, drainage channels, porous substrates, electrovalves, instruments, sensors and the control and automation system, for the regulation of the nutrient solution and the automation of the system in general.

The system can be "closed" with nutrient solution recirculation, or "open"
